If you are interested in being certified in the Inclusive Model of mediation, please consider applying for this process. Mediators who receive a score of 4, 5 or 6 will be certified.

PBE Day will consist of 2 videotaped, full-length role plays, of up to 3 hours each. The first will be mediated "solo" through writing the agreement for one topic. The second will be a co-mediation through brainstorming one topic. An evaluator will be watching the role play, assessing your work, according to a list of desired mediator behaviors taught in the Inclusive basic mediation training. After each role play, you will be given some brief oral feedback by your co-mediator, the role players (who may be evaluators in training), and you will give yourself feedback. Giving and receiving feedback is also being scored by the evaluator. After a social hour (during which the written report is prepared), the evaluators will give you tour score and in-depth feedback. You will receive your entire written reports and your video tapes within three months after PBE Day. After being evaluated, mediators are required to help one of the following two PBE days.
